Yup! You heard that right. I have ventured into sound design within that past 4 months along with creating drum loops and grooves. I took a break after I released my first 2 drum loops and dove head first into ambient sounds. I picked up a quality “stereo” field recorder and ventured out to capture the sounds of nature. Everything from rain to quiet nights with crickets, to sound effects.
These sounds are especially great for people who need white noise or constant sound to help them fall asleep. They work really well if you are a first time film marker and don’t have the budget for an audio engineer. You can plug a lot of these sounds right into your editing process with little effort or mixing. All of these ambient sounds and nature ambience are recorded and then cleaned up, or mixed, to give the best possible quality of what was recorded.
